Regional Gatherings (known as RGs) are a mainstay of Mensa social activity. They generally involve 100-200 Mensans gathering at a hotel for a weekend of speakers, games, tournaments, and similar activities. Some RGs are smaller (mini-RGs) and some are enormous (Chicago WEEM regularly pulls in up to 800 Mensans and requires 4 hotels). Every RG has its own special acitivities, so check out the info provided or contact the local group that is hosting.

Remember to reserve your room early (there is usually a Mensa rate) and that the registration fee is usually reduced for early registration!
